Golden Houses Developments has been selected as a finalist in the Housebuilder of the Year category of the 2016 Construction News Awards, making the shortlist from among a record number of entrants.
By tripling their turnover and completing two extraordinary projects, Golden Houses Developments exemplified exquisite practises to stand out from the competition. The projects that impressed the judges were three new contemporary houses in Putney and a refurbished a five storey house with a 160sqm basement in Islington.
These projects were undertaken despite facing significant barriers. With a focus on solutions and innovation, ability to overcome problems and beautiful final products, Golden Houses Developments exceeded the expectations of each client.

Before the awards, all finalists will attend face-to-face judging by members of the 61-strong jury, made up of the most influential clients and experts in the UK. Other industry leading companies shortlisted in the Housebuilder of the Year category include:

This year the Construction News Awards are celebrating their 20th anniversary and 20 years of celebrating the very best contractors in the UK. Within their 20 targeted categories, there are two new ones for this year: Diversity Champion of the Year and Housebuilder of the Year.
